Forge Graphic Works is a team of makers and creative thinkers who design and produce impactful retail graphics and brand experiences. We partner with global brands and local businesses alike-concepting, designing, and producing large-scale retail campaigns, event graphics, retail displays, and other marketing programs. We work hard but have fun designing and making really cool stuff

We are currently looking to add a CNC Operator to our team.

This role is perfect for a hands-on maker who loves turning ideas into real, well-crafted things. You'll run CNC routers and laser equipment, work across a range of materials like wood, acrylic, PVC, and MDF, and collaborate closely with designers and fabricators to bring projects to life. We care about clean cuts, smart setups, and parts that look as good as they function. When needed, you may also jump in on additional fabrication work in the woodshop—assembly, sanding, finishing, or prototyping. If you take pride in craftsmanship, problem-solving, and working as part of a tight-knit shop team, you'll feel right at home at Forge. This role is perfect for someone who loves variety, enjoys problem-solving, and gets excited about working with materials like wood, acrylic, PVC, MDF, and other sheet goods. If you love clean toolpaths, dialed-in tolerances, and making beautiful, accurate parts at speed-you'll fit right in.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC routers and Lasers used to machine wood, acrylic, PVC, MDF, foams, and other fabrication materials
    • Partner with the Lead Engineer and Fabrication Manager on tooling, workflows, and cut strategies
    • Read and interpret CAD drawings, fabrication notes, nested cut files, and the occasional napkin sketch
    • Prepare materials, select tooling, optimize feeds and speeds, and set up jobs for accuracy and efficiency
    • Perform basic maintenance on tools, bits, and equipment while ensuring proper calibration and safe operation
    • Meet tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and consistent output
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including dust collection and scrap management
    • Support fabrication teams with light assembly, sanding, finishing, or prototyping when needed

    Required Skills:

    • Hands-on CNC experience cutting wood, plastics, and composite materials
    • Ability to read CAD drawings and work from digital cut files
    • Understanding of tooling, feeds and speeds, workholding, and finishing techniques
    • Comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
    • Experience with CAM software (VCarve, Fusion 360, EnRoute, ArtCAM, or similar) is a plus
    • Experience in acrylic finishing, woodworking, or laser/3D fabrication is a plus

    We Offer:

    • A fun, creative, and casual work environment
    • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match)
    • High-profile, design-driven projects for top brands
    • A tight-knit team that values craftsmanship and collaboration
    • Opportunities for growth within a thriving, forward-thinking company

We're looking for someone who's in it for the long haul-ready to build amazing things and grow within our foundry.
